The Traditional Star: Leros Mizithra
Fresh, unsalted mizithra is the store’s signature product. It is made daily and kept refrigerated for about a month—shorter than many cheeses, but this adds to its unique freshness and flavor.
Customers can request the freshly made mizithra of the day.
It can be enjoyed plain or paired with grape must for a more layered taste experience.When dried, it becomes perfect for grating over pasta, with an aroma and texture that evoke the flavors of the past.
